I became involved in helping set up systems for John in Footprint Homes after Covid hit which took a huge toll on my current business, as my prime client base was marketing for Tourism.
After achieving successful outcomes for the company I saw the bigger picture and became a partner/director in the Footprint Homes and never looked back.
From this came the opportunity to become involved in Māori Housing & Development which was far more than merely building houses.
On a personal note I have a close family member who for the past thirty years has struggled coping with life, society, alcohol addiction, incarceration and homelessness.
I loved the vision of building communities for the Maori to bring their whanau home to a community where they have the real opportunity to thrive and grow together.
A place where they aren’t a stranger living next to other strangers in a community of houses built only to take care of Maslow's hierarchy of needs or homeless.
I believe this to be an answer for my own whanau and is passionate about boarding this waka to help others find their way to living richer lives.
